NoSystem Font Vault Volume 1

⭐️ WHAT THIS IS

During the no_system era I was less of a physical collector and more of a digital hoarder. I kept downloading and saving old scans, magazine fragments, vintage newspaper pages, lobby cards, weird archived PDFs, anything that still felt alive even when it was just pixels. Most of it was never going to be used again. It was just sitting there collecting digital dust.

At some point I realized I wanted a way to recycle that stuff. Not preserve it in a precious way, just turn it into usable material again. This vault is me finally doing that, mining forgotten folders and turning the texture, mistakes, and history into fonts and clipart you can actually build with.

A lot of what’s in this vault came straight out of that process.

Some fonts were traced or extracted from old documents.
Some were rebuilt from warped lettering samples.
Some were born inside collage sessions where I cut type apart and reassembled it on a copier until it felt right.

A core idea here is that a lot of these processes were never meant to be preserved. Paste up. Punk publishing. Underground comics. Newspapers. Early streetwear graphics. Type got abused through scanners, copiers, cheap printing, and physical manipulation. The distortions were real, mechanical, and usually happened only once.

These fonts do not recreate those workflows. They capture the results.

Most of these fonts and assets have never been released anywhere. They were just living in my folders.

And money has been tight, so this is me offering something real in return for anyone who wants to support us right now.

Bureaucracy Pack
About 200 pieces of blacked out, formerly classified document ephemera. Blackout marks, stamps, headers, seals, numbering, and administrative texture for dossier layouts, archival simulations, and documentary style graphics.

⭐️ WHY THIS VAULT EXISTS

no_system was a creative release valve. I was making collage work, scanning scraps, cutting type apart, reconstructing alphabets from half destroyed documents, and turning lost print artifacts into usable digital type.

Some fonts here came from 1940s grocery circulars from northeastern Nebraska.
Some came from Mexican action cinema posters.
Some began as smudged teletypes.
Some were born from copy machine tricks and hand cut zine lettering.
Some exist because I wanted a specific feeling that did not exist anywhere else.

These fonts and assets are imperfect in all the ways that make typography feel human.

This vault is me finally letting them out of the folders and into the world.
